And what a happy birthday it was for Connor! A HUGE thank you to everyone who went out of their way to make Connor's birthday weekend such a wonderful celebration of his life! Before I explain the pictures, let me give you all an update on our little Cole. Jason and I got to see him (in an ultrasound) on Friday, 8/12, and it was FABULOUS! He was so happy in there - bee-bopin' around, kicking, licking the amniotic fluid (kinda gross, but darling at the same time!)...and of course, trying his best to hide his gorgeous face :) Cole is officially bigger than Connor was at this point in the pregnancy (33 1/2 weeks) as he is measuring between 6.5 and 7.5 lbs. He is also considered "off the charts" as he falls beyond the 100% mark! SHEW! Thank you, diabetes...once again...However, he is very healthy and doing very well. The most exciting news for his daddy and I was that he had so much hair that it actually showed up on the sonogram...in CURLS! Once again, I'll say it, IT BETTER BE RED!!! :) We have set our c section date with Dr. Samuels and the hospital as Tuesday, September 20, 2011...unless little Cole decides to come sooner (please, please, please...)!

We decided to take him out for a special Dunkin Donuts sprinkles donut for breakfast!
After the donut, we took him to Toys R Us so that he could pick out some toys with the generous gift that his Aunt Sally and her family sent him! Later, after his nap, Jo-Jo and Grandaddy, and Harper and Adriel came over to sing happy birthday to Connor and enjoy some cup cakes! Here is Adriel with Connor and Harper!

It was a fantastic weekend! Our little birthday boy is POOP, though! Birthdays take a LOT of a kid! Glad it's over...and let me just say...NO MORE EVENTS TO BE PLANNED BEFORE COLE GETS HERE! WOO HOO! 34 weeks tomorrow! Just 5 more...unless (once again) Cole decides to be kind to his mommy and come early :)
