9 Months Old and LOVIN' Mail!

Hello Everyone!

I can hardly believe it's possible, but Connor turned 9 months old yesterday!  And what a happy 9 month old we have been blessed with!  He is more amazing everyday and I can honestly say that I can't explain how excited I feel to get up and see him in the mornings, despite his early 6 AM wakings!  It's amazing!  Anyway, we had a big day yesterday for Connor's 9 months!  We had lots of play time and even managed to make it over to Erwin to see Connor's Aunt D and "big brothers" Grant, Nicholas, and Trevor!  We didn't take any pictures at Aunt D's house, but we did get to go outside and see some big trout, and some baby ducks...oh and lots of yucky bugs that were swarming, due to the muggy weather :)  To top the great day off, Grandma mailed Connor his very first "ficial" letter, addressed to Connor D. Ratliff, Esq. (Since he might one day be an attorney!)  As some of you know, Connor is OBSESSED with mail right now.  He absolutely LOVES holding mail and "eating it" and gets VERY upset if we try to take it away from him.  He's decided that he's a "Ficial Mail Carrier" and he'll decide if he will "liver" the mail or not!  So, you can only imagine the joy of receiving his very own sweet letter from Grandma, yesterday!  Made our day!  Thanks, Grandma!  We did not let him have the letter, because we wanted to put the picture up on his wall and keep the letter for his scrapbook, but we did let him have the envelope!

Ok - onto the pictures...

Here is Connor, saying, "Mommy...did you know that I'm 9 months old today?!"

9 Month old boys need to read their books!

This is his "smug" look!

Trying to tell me how he feels to be such a big and "ficial" boy!

Already lookin like a scholar!

Playing with "Bananas" the monkey!

Taking a ride in his wagon from Papaw and Memaw!

Later, studying his many books!

Mail's here!  His very first "Ficial" letter!

He'll taste it if he wants to, you can't stop him!

That's right, it says Connor on it!

Another taste test!  Good thing it's from Grandma and we don't have to worry about anthrax!

Have a great end of the week, everyone!
