Blessed Beyond Measure...: July In Atlanta!

Yes, you read that right! The Ratliffs are spending the month of July in Atlanta while Jason works on his Master’s in Divinity Degree at Candler at Emory University! We are having a great time! We have a student family apartment on campus and Jason is thoroughly enjoying his classes! We are headed back to Bristol on August 3rd – however the boys and I are coming back at least once more for a doctor’s appointment since it’s getting REALLY close to our sweet Caroline’s arrival! And MAN are we STOKED!

I introduced Connor to Legos on July 1st and he was instantly in love!

$1.99 spent at Walgreens was priceless fun for the boys on July 2nd!

Connor has been being such a great helper to me! He got a special surprise 100 piece puzzle on 7/3 that he did and redid 5 times within 40 minutes!

We decided to stay put on July 4th since we were packing on the 5th and leaving on the 6th for Atlanta!

We ended up having lunch with some dear friends at Mellow Mushroom!

We arrived right on time in Atlanta, for check in – the boys first visit to a major college campus!

On July 7th Cole had his first ever bus ride to Glenn UMC for worship!

Lots of firsts on this trip – no more high chair…big boy!

I love Atlanta and will thoroughly enjoy our month here, but these mountains are TRULY my home!

And we had a 32 week ultrasound today for Baby Caroline (actually 31 weeks, 6 days gestation) She is doing great though ENORMOUS! She’s in the 96th % and estimated at 5 lbs already! She is healthy and happy though – we even caught her chewing on her foot Smile Can’t wait to meet her! She’s already got chubbier cheeks than Cole and curly hair like he had!
