Well, we can hardly believe it! Connor will be 1 year old on Thursday, August 12th! What a wonderful year it has been...especially since Connor was around 5 months old!! What an amazing experience, sharing in Connor's 1st year of life! We are so excited this week because, of course it's Connor's birthday, but also because my parents and Aunt Suz will be driving into town on Friday, 8/13, and staying with us for a WHOLE WEEK! We are THRILLED! We have lots of fun things planned and can't wait to just spend time with family!
Connor is doing very well and it seems he's grown an inch over the last week! He's still doing his best to walk and really enjoying his playroom! I could not be happier with the way it turned out and am really excited that Connor gets so much use of out it.
On Saturday, 8/7, Jason and I decided to take Connor up to one of our favorite places, Damascus, Virginia! Here he is, checking out the trains!
He loved to stand here, on the train, watching the cars drive by - this boy LOVES cars!

And the best part about being 1 year old...You get to sit in your big boy car seat and face FORWARD! WOO HOO! He is THRILLED with this change!

On Sunday, 8/8, we headed up to Big Stone Gap to attend Connor's cousin Kaleigh's 1st birthday party! She was born exactly 1 week before Connor! Here is Jason and Mamaw at the party!
