Week 48!

Well, Connor turned 11 months old this week!  I can't believe it!  We had a pretty relaxed week in preparation for our trip to see Cascia in Alabama!!!  For those of you who don't know, Cascia and I have been friends since we met in Drama class in 7th grade, when we were 12 years old!  Connor and I are SUPER excited to travel 4 hours south to spend the week with her and her family!  I can't wait for Connor to play with Cash's boys, Jack (3 1/2 years old) and Adam (1 1/2 years old).  We had a couple of firsts this week!  The biggest was that Connor began walking, pushing his little walking toy, on 7/12!  So exciting!  He also started saying "Num...Num...Num..." whenever he eats anything yummy!  Connor has been talking up a STORM!  And going everywhere so I had to get a gate for his room!  Ok - onto the pictures!

Here he is, with his best friend, Sean, in his newly gated room on 7/17!  Poor kitty can't understand why he can't get to his best friend!  While talking on Skype to my parents today he also let go and stood by himself without holding on to anything 2 different times!  WOO HOO!

And standing up all by himself in the laundry basket!  Notice Sean right up above him?  He never leaves Connor's side!

Enjoying the Summer!

We hope you all had a great week!  Connor is now 47 weeks old, and 11 months old today!  He is so active now!  He is really excited to crawl all over his playroom and loves to have his daddy and I walk him all around.  He's definitely a man on the move!  Connor has decided in the last week that he is no longer a baby and refuses to eat baby food - or much of anything else, except his milk.  Making feeding times "oh so fun" (said with a sarcastic sigh)...On Thursday, 7/8, Connor pulled himself up and stood by his box of Huggies diapers - he was so proud of himself!

On Wednesday, 7/7, Connor and I headed over to my friend, Alanna's house, to have lunch and play with her daughter, Bailey (almost 7 months) and Misty and Maelen (13 months)...Here are some pictures from our day...

Our Fun-Filled 4th of July Weekend with Family!

What a great holiday weekend!  Connor and I hit the pool a lot last week and enjoyed the nice cool weather we had...gonna miss that this week when temps are predicted to reach close to 100 degrees up here!  SHEW!  Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures last week, probably because I took so many the week before!  Anyway...I did capture some great moments this weekend!  We spent Saturday, 7/3, with Donnie and Vickie on Holston Lake in Abingdon!  The weather was awesome and the water was amazing!  Then on Sunday, 7/4, we headed down to Douglas Lake and enjoyed the day with Jo and Greg!  Enjoy the pictures!
