Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion...and Aunt Suz Comes to Visit!

We are SUPER excited that we will be having our precious Cole on Tuesday, 9/20!  My Aunt Suz came up to stay with us on Monday, 9/12, and I convinced her to stay until next Thursday, so she can stay at the hospital at night with me while Jason is home with Connor!  We have not taken too many pictures, but we did attend a festival on Saturday, 9/17, in Bristol, called Rhythm and Roots Reunion and I took some pictures there.  Don't worry, I will soon be COMPLETELY overwhelming you with pictures!

Here is Daddy and Suzie taking Connor to the petting zoo part of the festival at the kids area!

Connor, checking out the ducks!

Suzie, helping Connor feed the donkey!

Connor, trying to milk the fake cow :)

He was so excited to hug Elmo!

With the hellicopter

He loved the "ghetto" looking Mickey, too!

Suzie, helping Connor play Hokie bean bag toss!

Listening to an AWESOME bluegrass band with his daddy!

Big old me and Suzie!

The Slaughters!

Connor and Harper spent about an hour, running around and playing with their balloons!  They were SO excited!

He enjoyed dancing with the pig and cow!

Later that day, after naps, we went back to the festival with Jo-Jo and Grandaddy!

38 weeks, 5 days pregnant with Cole!

I am going to Bristol Regional Medical Center at 2 PM tomorrow for some pre-op blood work and testing and then we are headed to the hospital bright and early at 6:30 AM on Tuesday!  Dr. Samuel said that he is starting the c section at 7:30 AM, whether I am there or not :)  SO excited to meet our new baby boy!  God is SO good!  Please pray for us and watch Facebook for updates!

Almost THERE!

Hello Everyone!

Well, we are a little bit closer to seeing baby Cole as I post this!  I will be 38 weeks pregnant tomorrow!  Praise the GOOD LORD!  I am MISERABLE to say the least!  Ready to see this baby boy and care for him OUTSIDE of my body! :)  I went to the doctor on Tuesday, 9/6, and found out that I have dilated to a solid 2, effaced to 70% and Cole is now in the -1 station.  We pray every day that it's the day for Cole to arrive, but alas, I fear he will be delivered on his scheduled c section date of 9/20!  The good news is that my Aunt Suz is coming up here to stay with me tomorrow, 9/12, until Friday night, 9/16!  I'm so excited to spend some time with her and it will make the waiting SO much more bearable :)

We had an exciting weekend with Connor!  The Junior League in Johnson City had a charity event called Touch a Truck, which I knew would be right up Connor's alley!  We took him Saturday to see lots of BIG "Bullsdozers" as Connor calls them and he was quite excited to be able to touch the big trucks.  Here he is, with his Daddy, looking at a HUGE...I have no idea what this would be called...But he called it a "Bullsdozer"...

He was a little bit intimidated by the HUGE size of this truck, so he did not want to sit in the driver's seat...

He liked the fire truck but did not enjoy when other kids hit the sirens!

However, he LOVED touching the giant tires and hub caps on the cement mixers!

And of course, he enjoyed sitting on the tractor with his Daddy!

And...here I am at 37 weeks, 6 days pregnant - 38 weeks tomorrow!!!  SO excited!  We will have pictures of Cole in 9 days or less!  Can't wait!

Have a great week and please pray for us!

Waiting On Cole To Arrive...

Hello Everyone!

Good news...we made it to 37 weeks and Cole is ready to be birthed!  And so am I!! :)  Here are a few pictures from last week...

This is me at 36 weeks pregnant, after another big DROP from Cole!  I turned 37 weeks on Monday, 9/5!

On Labor Day, we decided to head over to one of our favorite spots, Wallabies, in Johnson City, with Adriel and Harper!  It's been raining and we just knew this was the perfect outlet for all of Harper and Connor's energy!  what a great idea!  They had a blast!  Here's adorable little Harper at the top of a slide!

I'm not really moving too fast these days, so Daddy ran around with Connor, taking him on all the big bouncies and slides, while Mom took pictures and videos!  It was great fun!

And before we left, Connor even let Harper give him some sugar...and told her he loved her :)

Later, after a nice long nap (our plan worked) Daddy decided to give Connor his old Star Wars toys that he played with as a little boy!  They had so much fun looking at each of them and Jason taught him all of their names (well at least told him their names!)  He LOVED them!  They then started watching the Star Wars movies together!

Have a great week and we hope to be posting good news of Cole's birth SOON!
