Looking Forward to Spring!

Hello Everyone!  Wow - let me just say that although I'm still loving the snow...the sickness that goes along with Winter in NE Tennessee is for the BIRDS!  We have literally had one virus after another!  This last week was brought to you by the stomach flu!  And WOW did we ever have it bad in the Ratliff house!  Ok...onto some pictures!  We have been inside quite a bit, trying to mend...so I haven't taken that many pictures...

On Wednesday, 1/26, Adriel and Harper decided to come over and play when we were supposed to be getting a MASSIVE snow storm...which, incidently, amounted to NOTHING!  Maybe a stray flake or 2...

On Friday, 1/28, Adriel dropped Harper off for some playtime while she ran an errand!  I don't know who had more fun, me or the kiddies!  Harper has decided that she likes cars and ran right over to Connor's cars and started playing!  She even taught him how to play with one of his trucks!

Connor:  "Hey...what are you...I didn't know he could do that?!"

Harper: "See, I told you that he was more exciting than the way YOU play with him!" 

Connor:  "A woman after my own heart..."

Connor:  "Mama...she has Frightening McMean...I'm gonna pout!"

Where's Harper?!

Peek-a-boo!  I see you!

"BROOOOM BROOOOM!!!"

Connor:  "I have a ball!"  Harper:  "I want that ball!  You'll give it to me because I'm the woman and I always get my way!"

Harper: "MEN!  I told him I always get my way!"

Connor:  "Oh well, whatever keeps her happy..." (Sounds a little like his daddy!!!)

This was hysterical!!!  Harper sat down on the floor, took her socks off, and put Connor's socks on!

Like my socks?  After this I tried to teach the kids the hokie pokie but ended up doing it myself...we moved on to ring around the rosie and they actually really liked to "all fall down!"

Harper:  "Okay people...I'm outta here!"

They decided to watch some Cars!!

Connor:  "See, I told you it was the best movie ever!"

I love this one!

Connor:  "Ummm...Mama...she's got my cup, AGAIN...and my socks?!  Oh well, whatever makes her happy...at least she'll let me sit on the couch with her..."

And that, folks, is our life!

It's Been a While...

Hello Everyone!  Sorry it's been a while - we have just been so busy!  School has started back and every free second I have is spent with my boys!  We've also been battling a stomach bug in our house and I'm hoping it's finally going away - Poor Connor has had quite a hard time with it!

Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks!  Here is Connor on 1/5, when we were having a "snow/stay in your pj's all day" kinda day!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  We've had a very exciting week!  Here is our week in pictures!

On Sunday, 12/26, we spent the day in our pj's!  Here is Connor, watching his new BLUE RAY version of Cars from his Daddy!  He has all his favorite things with him, including his new kitty, Josephine, from Aunt Sally!

That night, Grandma and Grandpa took us all out to eat at Crackerbarrel, in the snow!  It was snowing like CRAZY!

The next morning, Monday, 12/27, Grandma and Grandpa were supposed to head home, but it was too icy and snowy outside...so they got to stay an extra day!  YAY!!!  We had a great day together!

Later that day, Connor and Grandma and I went over to Adriel's house!  Connor decided to play with Harper's bath toys!

On Tuesday, 12/28, Connor and I played hard before he headed off to Papaw's house for a couple of days so that I could work and study :)

On New Year's Eve, we had dinner at Jo-Jo's house!  Connor had a blast!

On Saturday, 1/1/11, we headed over to Wallabies in Johnson City with Adriel and Harper and their family!  Connor had a GREAT TIME! 

He was so excited that he would just run all over and scream, "SEAN!"  I think Sean means "all things good" in Connor-world!

This little boy was very excited to inform me that Connor has hair!
